PATTERN DRAFTING & GARMENT MAKING

After completing I felt good as this submission was done and dusted.

0352784 GAYAPRIYA GNANASEELAN BACHELOR OF FASHION DESIGN TECHNOLOGY  TAYLORS UNIVERSITY WEEK 7 : BASIC FITTED GARMENT Today I stitched my skirt  which was cut in calico and also attached the pockets for both side also for my skirt I attached waist band.  Unfortunately I forgot to take picture master pattern of the pocket and also fabric layout . But I have completed my Skirt for Basic Fitted Garment .  Waist Band  Skirt Pattern ( Left )   COMPLETED SKIRT  Skirt Pattern ( Right )

0352784 GAYAPRIYA GNANASEELAN BACHELOR OF FASHION DESIGN TECHNOLOGY  TAYLORS UNIVERSITY                       WEEK 5 : SEWING TECHNIQUE  Last week we traced the patterns on paper from the master pattern , this week we focused on transferring the paper patterns on to the calico fabric and marked accordingly the cutting the fabric pieces. In the below pictures it can be seen that I have pinned the Master patterns  on the calico fabric.  After pinning the patterns onto the fabric I have marked the darts , seam allowance carefully before cutting the fabric.   We are now preparing to do our final garment assignment .  After transferring the design into the calico , I have cut the pieces in the calico material carefully . Then I  marked the important points which are the seamline.
