PATTERN DRAFTING & GARMENT MAKING

GAYAPRIYA GNANASEELAN 0352784 BACHELOR OF FASHION DESIGN TECHNOLOGY  TAYLORS UNIVERSITY WEEK 14 : FINAL E-PORTFOLIO  so today is our final assessment which was about presenting our two final looks with the presentation slides , we were supposed to explain about the entire process and journey of how we completed this LOOKS. LOOK ONE  Front Dress Detailed Look   LOOK TWO  REFLECTION   I completed my presentation with my lectures and they gave me some of comments on how I can improve my dress more beautifully and also complimented and advised about how I am and  I was happy to hear as I need to improve myself on quite number of things and should be glad about how am I am about certain things.

GAYAPRIYA GNANASEELAN 0352784 BACHELOR IN FASHION DESIGN TECHNOLOGY  TAYLORS UNIVERSITY WEEK 12 : READY TO WEAR COLLECTION So this week I did pattern making for my LOOK 2 , as my technical drawing was ready . So Firstly I spoke with my lecturer who is Mr. Riza and discussed regarding my Technical Drawing.  Then I started doing master pattern for my LOOK 2 . TECHNICAL DRAWING FOR LOOK 2 MASTER PATTERN FOR DRESS FRONT AND BACK  FRONT DRESS BLOCK BACK DRESS BLOCK PATTERN CUTTING  FRONT BODICE PATTERN BACK BODICE PATTERN  SKIRT BACK PATTERN BACK SKIRT PATTERN FRONT SKIRT PATTERN REFLECTION I completed the master pattern and pattern cutting today and while making the pattern I needed my lecturers help and he helped me therefore I was able to finish my pattern making process easily and faster.

Technical Drawing for LOOK 1 Then I started to draw my master pattern for LOOK 1 , which was quite new and confusing as I have not done a dress block before but with my lecturers help I was able to complete my master pattern . MASTER PATTERN DRESS BLOCK & FRONT FLARED DESIGN  BLOCK Front & Back Dress Bodice  Flared  PATTERN CUTTING  REFLECTION   Today I did my master pattern and pattern cutting in todays class for my look one and completed first part and my lecturer helped me throughout the class.
